Pharmaceutical Care (ATENFAR)

It is a pharmaceutical care program developed by Clínica Bíblica with the objective of accompanying patients in the correct, safe and effective use of their medications. If you take several medications, have doubts about schedules, interactions or adverse effects, ATENFAR is for you.

The counseling can be in person or by video call according to your preference and availability.

  • Medication review: We detect interactions, duplicities and adverse effects so that you only take what is necessary, safely.

  • Accompaniment in chronic diseases: We support you in each stage of your treatment for conditions such as arthritis, lupus, hypertension, diabetes, among others.

  • Improved adherence: Personalized dosage systems (SPD) and education so that you know how and when to take your medications.

  • Attention to polymedicated people: We simplify your treatment with easy and safe schedules.

  • Hospital-home transition: We avoid interruptions in your treatment with clear recommendations for you and your family.

  • Patient and family education: We explain what you take and why, key to your therapeutic success.

  • Intravenous infusion protocols: Safe preparation and personalized follow-up of biological or specialized medications.

What do you need to access the Pharmaceutical Care Clinic?

New patient

  1. You must present a valid prescription (no more than three months old) to the pharmacy assistant at any of our offices.

  2. The assistant will proceed to take your personal information to enroll you in the ATENFAR Program, who will give you a brief explanation of the program and its benefits .

  3. The pharmacist evaluates and authorizes the prescription and validates the information on the label and proceeds to sign the dispensing of the medication.

  4. The medication is delivered with instructions for its use (if it is taken orally) or it is transferred to the nursing area for its proper application via subcutaneous or intramuscular route.

  5. You will receive a reminder for your next dispensing and dispensing of the medication.

  1. If it is a subcutaneous or intramuscular medication, you must present yourself with the prescription to the reception area so that they can open a service order and ask the nursing staff to administer the medication.

  2. Your medication would already be labeled in the pharmacy (since the reminder message is sent to you), it is prepared and passed to the nursing area.

  3. If it is any other type of medication, it goes directly to the pharmacy for proper dispensing and billing with or without medical insurance or any special discount.

  4. You will receive a reminder for your next dispensing and dispensing of the medication.

  1. You must send the request to the WhatsApp number 8969-9705, the medical prescription, the medical insurance form (if applicable) and the epicrisis.

  2. The infusion appointment is scheduled and information is provided to you.

  3. We prepare the infusion protocol for the procedure and the medication is prepared in the sterile area at the time of the infusion.

  4. You will receive a reminder for your next dispensing and dispensing of the medication.

  1. You must be referred by a health professional or request the pharmaceutical consultation directly to WhatsApp 8969-9705 or through the Contact Center or in any of our pharmacies.

  2. An appointment is scheduled with the pharmacist in charge of the pharmaceutical consultation.

  3. All the required information is documented in a pharmaceutical file and you are provided with an action plan that includes pharmaceutical education, medication schedule development, therapeutic adherence intervention, medication risk assessment, design of personalized dosing systems (if required by the patient).

  4. You will receive a reminder of upcoming follow-up appointments.
