Bone scan

Evaluation of lesions, occult fractures, metastases or inflammatory processes.

Renal scintigraphy (MAG 3 / DMSA)
Analysis of renal function, urinary obstruction and renal scarring.

Preparation for studies

In order for your test to go as smoothly as possible, follow these instructions according to the test you are going to undergo. It is important to read them carefully and tell the staff if you are taking any medication when scheduling the appointment.

If you are taking any medication you should let us know when scheduling your appointment.

  • You must be able to perform forced inspirations.

  • Chest X-ray of the last 24 hours, and bring it the day of the study.

  • Minimum 2 hours of fasting

  • Do not drink caffeinated beverages or their derivatives (coffee, tea, xanthines, etc.) for at least 24 hours prior to the study.

  • Bring a bottle of water (600 cc).

  • Wear comfortable clothes.

  • Have the whole day available for the test.
