Regarding the results sent by electronic means, confidentiality is ensured through the signature of an informed consent by the users, which allows them to authorize their e-mail account whose privacy management corresponds to its owner .

Likewise, non-critical results are not provided verbally. The staff is committed to safeguarding the information and analysis samples and not to disclose them to unauthorized persons.

• Procedure for the request of analysis and sample taking: To be attended the patient must provide identification for authentication of the user who comes to request a service. The patient can request a service through :

• • Written request: this order can be made by the physician, document or note requesting services or in the HCB laboratory test request (LCHCB-R5.25) .

• • Electronic request: when the patient is receiving emergency or hospital services.
